‘Purple Heaven’ is a queer short film that tells the story of the young monk Christiaan who has been in the monastery since he was born. When he decides to go outside of the monastery for a day to explore the world, he falls for the charming Adam. They spend the night talking, dancing, having fun, and being romantically obsessed with each other. Christiaan learns that he is gay and that God is totally okay with that. This film was made by students of the Netherlands Film Academy Amsterdam.
